I can't see Messi winning it, if he wouldn't have been injured for about 3 months in total no doubt. But I guess a lot of voters just can't vote for someone who has been injured that much. If Ronaldo however wins it, it would be undeserved. Someone from Bayern should win it.

This. A player's own performance should not be judged by how many titles and trophies his or her team won. Good players play for shitty teams too.
The Ballon D'or should not be reserved for someone from the team that won the treble, CL or WC.

Honestly, I don't even care anymore who will win - the award has become meaningless now that it has been quite clear who is the best player in the world for some years. This year especially was very tight, no one really stood out more than others. Just hope to see Messi beasting it up again in 2014

but a useless argument if he wasn't the BEST. great doesn't equal the best, and the award is for the best individual.
I don't think Ronaldo has done anything exceptional individually, and i'm not too impressed with the performances hes had in important games, but I wouldn't be pissed off if he won it. ribery deserves it more imo, and messi, but messi just has been wrangled with injuries
though i'd gladly take messi resting 2-3 monthes and being fully fit, then dominating in the important stages of ucl and being fully healthy for the world cup
I do care, I'm greatly interested in it, meaning "this award". I said I don't care "who will win" so much anymore. That's two different things. For all I care, they can hand it over to Cristiano and be done with it. It's a pointless debate anyway. Doesn't mean that I'm not excited to see who will in, or does it?

And by that logic Messi should win it cause he's still the best player on this planet, injuries or not.
Messi could win this if only he had a chance to return to his good disposition and show what hes made of. Unfortunately for him thats not an option now.
