I don't see how anyone can deny that Ronaldo is narcissistic, perhaps not to the degree some people say but he is definitely narcissistic. I find him extremely annoying and unlikeable because of his behaviour but when people start saying he's overrated, a scum, no idol and that Messi is 10x better (obviously a hyperbole but still) when Messi tries, then your personal opinion of him clouds your ability to objectively judge him as a football player.
I guess "people" refers to me so:
1. No idol. I my opinion a person with his personality isnt worthy of any respect. People who are genuinly interested in others, who listens and try to make it better for someone else, they are closer to my understanding of "idol". Ronaldo most definitely isnt.
2. Overrated. Depends on the context. If messi is the reference, I think its possible to defend such a position.
Words as "scum" and "10x better" reflects my personal preferances, yes. So you can look away from them if you like, my overall point is nevertheless clear,
1. he is a narcissist, and perhaps a bit overrated compared to messi(but this is a controversial claim).
The other guy here is talking about some concept of "good nature". As far as I know this is a deeply complicated idea, and you will for sure find loads of different understandings, and many wont say its possible to use such a concept at all. So first define the concept instead of taking it as self evident. Then argue.
