Something I've always wondered about Ronaldo's legacy is whether he will go down as the greatest player for any of the teams he has ever played for.
Will he surpass Eusebio for the Portuguese? Do United fans rank him above George Best? And will Madrid fans put him above Di Stefano?

Nah, he will be considered a Hall of famer for both clubs but both have had so many great players its only logical he wont surpass a best or Di Stefano.
He might surpass Eusebio but thats a big if, same with best Ronaldo.
I feel he will be considered the most athletically gifted player and the ultimate example for hard work, not that others dont work as hard but its always brought up with Ronaldo.
Still being compared to Messi all the time who will be cosnidered the goat will also help his legacy.

That's true, going toe to toe with Messi's goal tally in both Spain and Europe will reflect very strongly on his legacy.

Not for me especially for Real Madrid simply because when I think of him and all the records he is breaking and setting I just think of a great goal scorer and not a trophy winner.

I don't know many united fans who would put Ronaldo in their top 5 let alone the best, he really only had 2 or 3 great seasons at United, if you ask United fans for their top players they usually will say Best Charlton Law Giggs Cantona etc Ronaldo does come up occasionally but thats usually when people are talking specifically of the modern era.
