Cristiano Ronaldo - v1

Cristiano is a fucking psycho, he knows that he will never get close to Messi level, not matter how hard he tries and that drives him crazy...When he retires he will be remembered as a perfect goalscorer and will be compared with Raul, Di Stefano etc...But i cant see him get in the discussion for GOAT.

Despite everything, one has to admit that Ronaldo remains very decisive for Real Madrid and he can still score a boat load of goals.

Of course he can. Still by far Real's most dangerous player, and to be fair I expect him to score against us also. But, man, his personality has become unbearable on the field. How can his teammates -- most of them are world class mind you -- be so submissive in front of Ronaldo is beyond me.

He definitely won't be scoring 50+ goals anywhere else than Liga, Ligue1 or SerieA .. not happening in england I think, too balanced, can you see him scoring 2-3goals against Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham, Chelsea, City, ... don't think so, good thing with la liga is he's in the best team possible and the rest is pretty low so he can get easy goleadas, I think that's also why he was so pissed against Levante, that's the typical game were he inflates his stats..

Though, what I can see, is if he's not leaving then Bale is, definitely one of the 2 is leaving, it's so obvious they can't stand each other anymore

PL isnt that great, and there is usually more end to end, which suits Ronaldo well. If Real Madrid played in PL, im sure he would score 50+. The problem isnt the quality of PL, but finding a good enough attacking team to help him.

True, he's definitely in the best possible position in RM to score the most goals, also, the rivalry with Messi will loose quite a bit of echo if they're not playing in the same league, and all this is very important for the BO, which is his #1 priority..

Anyway, considering the form ManU is in atm I don't see him considering the move either, they're not even sure to make CL next year .. can you imagine CR7 not playing the champions league ? He's already gonna have a fucking HARD time getting a goalscoring record that can stick for 1yr (till messi gets it back) if ever, he'll NEVER take a chance to miss an entire season.

At least he has a little chance of being all time topscorer in CL if he stays here, if he went to United he would not. He also needs to stay next season for Rauls record. Its in his own best interests to stay i think, no doubt he would bag in goals no matter what league, but probably more here due to the teammates he has around him.

I'm agreeing with you mate ^^
As much as i'd love not to have to see his face anymore, he'll stay for the Raul record, that's the only one that will last him and he knows it.

Yeah, it does seem like they can't stand eachother. Apparently Bale was a huge fan of Ronaldo so he probably got disappointed when he met him since Ronaldo is a total douche on the field and Ronaldo is also mad at Bale because he's so shit and disappointing so far. Bale is basically ruining Ronaldo's records and shit. If there wasn't Bale he would have one more middlefielder who can create for him and Benzema would still obediently assist to him while scoring occasionally. I hope one of them goes to Man U for some huge money so we can get a more balanced squad without players who can't get along with eachother.

No way Ronaldo goes back to United. He wont score 50+ goals there. His cl/pichichi/liga/overall goal scoring/ ballon d'or " battle" with Messi keeps him in Spain.

Since he cares about individual results so much, no top 5 competition is better suited than la liga playing with Madrid.

Maybe PSG if Zlatan left. Ronaldo is smart when it comes to his career.
Stoichkov yesterday said the battle with Messi is hurting him, I agree with him, it doesnt look like he cares much for awards, he wants Messi's records, have more goals, individual awards and be seen as the goat.

All in all he looks miserable, playing forcefully for set personal goals. I thought he seemed to enjoy football more back at United.

He'd leave because of his competition with Messi not stay for it. He is 30 with supposedly bad knees. When watching him, its clear he lost a bit of pace and he also pretty much plays as a striker nowadays as his heat maps usually have him standing right next to Benzema.

I think its psychologically messing him up badly that he is getting older and has no chance to compete with Messi who is on GOAT form and 3 yrs youngers. We'll probably see the closest to Messi of 2012 this year while Cristiano is going downhill.

Completely agree, Bale has to take chances because he's also judged very harshly when he doesn't score so he has the periods where he tries to assist but always comes back to trying to score for himself, he is still the most expensive player on earth .. It's really a puzzle for RM because they're trying to make the transition from CR-madrid to Bale-Madrid progressive but it doesn't seem to be working, and betting on CR is taking the risk that he declines starting next year or the one after that and have miss the next big thing..

When I think about it, i'm very happy with our trio, we're very well set for a while and it's only gonna get better :)

It was all over chiringuito yesterday; his "SIIIIUUUU" at training, and his smile, and his 2 goals .... hilarious once again

I think Madrid media propaganda is a bit desperate at the moment to restore faith in him since a lot of RM fans are very disapointed, not only by his performances since everyone can have a drop in form, but a lot are absolutely disgusted by his reactions on the field towards his team mates and the public.

Whenever i see him in training videos he seems like quite a different character than on the field, he jokes around and laugh. On the field, thats a different matter.
