Seriously watch out for it. Every single game, repeatedly.

I watch RM games to :

- know the score
- watch isco kroos modric james play
- see CR7 get more desperate every time a bit more :)

The good thing for us is that RM has no choice but to back him up, hence all the chiringuitos justifying his acts, articles about his humble beginnings when he ride the subway to go to sporting, etc ... try to re-humanize the inhumain, but that shit we don't care about, that's for his fans, as far as we're concerned, as long as he still can't get back to scoring like he wants, and keeps showing his desesperation towards his team mates, at some points he and/or the system around him at RM is gonna implode, I can guarantee you that !

One key factor that exacerbated EVERYTHING .. is Messi turning on GOD mode .. he just knows that even if he somehow gets back to scoring a little bit he will never catch up, and he was just toooo happy about Messi doing nothing and leaving him the Ballon d'Ors and was probably already jerking of to the idea of getting his 4th..

For all these reasons, and the fact that there's a long break after this game, Barça shouldn't just go for the win, they should go for nothing less than humiliation, if they can of course, not just score 2 and relax, if they can put in 5 or 6 they should do it, and all the better if CR7 stays at 0 goals, Real will NEVER recover from this and will probably fuck up his entire season :)

I only watch them for kroos, he is my new favorite midfielder. But Ancelotti is screwing him up by playing him a d-mid. And I hope you are right, we need to leave them broken and ripe for atletico to pick them apart

Mate, CR7 was on his way to breaking Messi's 50 goals in one La Liga season, and now that's gone, and consider this, it was the ONLY record he could have left as a legacy, the ONLY one!

Messi has more pichichis, more golden boot, more BO, will still play CL a lot longer and leave his record, la liga record, assist record, civil year record, every possible record that is not proper to Real Madrid is Messi's... it's just the hard reality hitting in, and if he can't even get easy goals against Levante and the such anymore, basically, he's watching his entire dream of leaving any lasting legacy crumble, and can't do anything about it .. and since he's such a cunt as you said, he'll blame everyone else for it except himself until the situation is unsustainable for the club..

Honestly, I for one feel sorry for him, but he deserves everything he'll get :)

Well he could still be Real's topscorer of all time, But that would be a shame considering he doesn't care much about the club as the current record holder does

Hey, Ronaldo could still win the pichichi this year. And possibly score 50+ goals, even if it might seem unlikely.

People here overdramatize too much, like Ronaldo is done at the highest level or something, and then we have the ridiculous "sack lucho" campaign a few months back etc.

I've been coaching for a long time. I knw how to read players and how they behave during training. Ronaldo during training jokes and laughs, but shouts Vamos with sincerity after scoring in a 2-vs-Keeper drill, does his goal celebration after scoriing a penalty that he had to take to help the Keeper practice. He'll l augh if someone gives him a look, make a 'I'm joking' face in defence. But he means it. He is competitve duuring training to prove to his teammates that he's better than thhem. Its embarrassing. You can seee in the clip a handful of players are clearly uncomfortable and awkward with how he behaves.

Think about it. He's asked to take a peenalty to help the keeper practice- then does his goal celebration after the keeper fails to save it. When scoring in a 2 aside short pass and shoot drill, pumps his fists and very ssereiously and passionately shhouts 'come on!' and performs a rehearsed, CR7 sstance and slogan.

I've worked in sport for a long, ,long time- and itts blatantly obvious he makes his teammates uncomfortable, that he's morer concerened with his own image as a good footballere than with the team. That he wants to show up his own teammates to big up himself. My dad (75 god bless him) znd I have playing the same game since he first joined RM: counting how many times during a game that, after doing something wrong (mis control, poor pass, poor touch whatever) he'll immediately make some sort of subtle or or blatant gesture to a teammate to imply what happened only did because of a mistake by them. He'll throw an arm up, point somwhere.__ just gesture to someone that they messed up.

I mean he'll literally misplace a 6 yard pass, and throw his arm up at his teammate as if to say 'uh you shouldve [whatever]'. Another common one is he'll recieve a pass, have a decent 1st touch, the a defender will kick the ball and CR7 will patronizingly gesture back to his teammate that it was his fault in some way. He'll gesture after failing a trick that a teammate shouldve been over there, gesture after failing to control a pass that the pass was wrong, gesture after not being able to dribble past someone that a pas was wrong. He will throw his arm up or point somwhere to imply something literally 10 times a game, to avoid people seeing he made a mistake- but instead its his teammates incompetence that holds back his brilliance.

Its disgusting and pathetic and reeks of ego, self consciousness, need for constant affirmation, etc. If he played under me he'd have been pulled about it.

Seriously watch out for it. Every single game, repeatedly.

Very good analysis. Most of this is something the neutral fan notices immediately.

I'd bet anything the only players who like him are Pepe and Coentrao. I've seen on certain Madrid media that Iker doesn't really like his flamboyant style as well. He just isn't a good teammate.

No it's not, he has the single season scored record in Europe of 17. Messi failing to score against City has ended any chance of breaking that this season and he will probably never hit 17, so Ronaldo does have that one.

Anything can happen in football, Ronaldo could very well get another shot at the 50, Messi could get a real shot at the 17 as well. Im not counting for either to happen though.

I think Cristiano will continue to be a top player but he has already hit 30 with suspect knees and a visible decline in pace. He isn't going to hit 50. I also don't see him transitioning into a successful striker just yet. He seems awkward in the role. If you look at his heat maps you'll see he and Benzema are basically overlapping in the same area. His goals have dropped drastically with most now being headers and penalties.

I think Ronaldo could be a great striker, already kind of is. His positioning, off the bal movenent, headers and penaldo's can make him into this Van Nistelrooy type striker who scores 30+ a season but to continue to hit 50+ for several more years will be tough.

Also his legacy will be " that guy who was always compared to Messi" which is great and boost his legacy ranking unfairly but funnily dissapointing to him.

Not over dramatizing, I know he can get back to 1goal/game and he's still gonna be a great goal scorer for a bit, but it's not gonna be enough for the records he wants that's it, the 17over one season he still has, but Messi will get it too, so that'll leave him with nothing.

I personally don't see the RM/CR7 problem as footbalisticall, it's switching slowly to a human problem, and trust me, if RM wins nothing this year, we'll see a LOT of drama this summer :)

EDIT : look at Robben, he's older but still great, the difference being is he accepts being "amongst" the best players of his team, with 20-ich goals like all the others, and let the youngers get their share of glory too, and that makes the team a lot stronger! I don't see CR accepting that anytime soon..

Anyway, this is all just amateur-ish analyze mixed with whishfull thiking hehe, truth is, the more he sinks, the happier I am :)

The decline in pace phrase is bs. he is still ridiculously fast, one of the fastest around. imo, breaking up with Irina Shayk really messed his mind up a bit.

Hmm .. even die-hard RM fans can see he's not as fast as he was, and that's not even the most worrying I think, it's more his dribbling abilities that disapeared - he's averaging 1.5drible/g this season, in comparaison Messi Robben Hazard > 4.5/g - he shouldn't receive the ball unless he's in the best position to just score, he can't go from 2 players anymore..
