we need a fact check on the "most away goals since coming to spain" claim...if anyone has the resources handy. Even factoring in the tata year, I still think messi might edge it.

My response wasn't meant in a patronizing way. Just sounded funny that you are that adamant in your opinion about him.

Yes I was already following Barca since that time. But I remember Ronaldo to be much happier during his first two seasons.
And I don't remember this much controversy in the things he said back then.

I feel Ronaldo has become more 'aggressive' and direct in his responses since three years ago since the arrival of Bale.
That's when he started to look tired of dealing with the media.

Honestly, I think Badr Hari is an influence on him and is rubbing off his mentality of '@(# the world' and 'It's you vs them'.

In the football world yes he is like that.

But genuinely seems to have empathy for others off the park etc. He doesnt have all those traits across his life.

Just got a psychatric opinion an diagnosed as not narcissist.

I would say he is opposite and doesnt have the complete ego and belief that he projects. More self doubt than he lets on. Hence why so many people around him need to feed it.

I see no difference, really. I still remember his words before the 5-0 in 2010. Barça had just beaten almeria 8-0, and cr said "The 8-0 at Almeria doesn't tell me anything, lets see if they score eight goals against us on Monday"

Ronaldo has several big qualities as well. He works hard from what I've heard, and he is a professional, like he says. Very competitive and a winner mentality, clearly. I actually think his attitude is getting worse though. He wasn't such an asshole several years back.

Yea i agree. I actually think he seems like a good guy off the field. But i was only talking about the footballer, which is one narcissistic drama queen imo. Which makes him such a great player.

His attitude now seem to be I have proved all this how can you question me? That brings a bit more arrogance than him starting off in Spain or at 23/24 with a lot left to do.

What are you talking about, he has always been a prick, even when he was at United he was an arrogant asshole. Just gotten worse since joining Real, supposedly when he quit the dives and gotten more mature compared to his United days according to his fans.
