Cristiano Ronaldo - v1

It doesn't make it any better. But you're surely trying hard to make excuses for him today :)

I think in general people enjoy hating on him. And if you enjoy that there is already a bias and tendency to not give him the same courtesy or benefit of the doubt and it just becomes a self-fullfilling prophecy.
This guy is bad, arrogant etc. It doesn't help that the media has been tough on him the last couple or years or so.

I feel sorry for the guy as a person because it seems that anything he does seems to be a loss for him. If he does something bad it's bad. If he does something good it's because there are ulterior motives thus it's bad also.

What media? For his behaviour on the pitch alone, he could easily - and justifiably so - recieve loads more flak than he is.

Perhaps this is just the Danish media (they wouldn't know football if it him them straight in the face), but here he's often portrayed as some sort of saint when he helps out a poor sickness afflicted kid in some third world country. It's stories like that we see here, so I can't recognise what you're saying at all, not even close.

Hahah. Poor Ronaldo being attacked by the media.

Must have missed that when he was busy punching/kicking someone once a match.

Best midfielder around
He's finally getting some shit from the press for once after being a crybaby and leaving the press conference earlier today.

Why should anyone fell bad for him? He kicks and punches players during matches as he pleases, and the media never goes after him. Also says all sorts of crap and rarely gets picked on about it. If Suarez or Neymar said what he said today, we'd never hear the end of it. They'd be torn to shreds. But somehow cr always gets a pass. Don't know where you're getting the media's been tough on him, because that's not what I see. He always gets a pass to say and do whatever he wants, when others don't.

He said a lot of crap today, there's nothing to give benefit of the doubt for. He was pretty clear.
There are many rm players I respect. He'll never be one of them.

What Flavia said. How people enjoy hating him when he has tons of worshipers? Albeit on continent that have poor footballing culture.

AS have a video where Cristiano, Marcelo and Arbeloa are having a laugh (mocking?) at the expense of the Messi-Suarez trick PK.

He's on a serious roll today.

Calma, calma
Atleast that one comment doesn't seem that bad. The AS Roma shirt swap comment was disgraceful though.

Has anyone found a video of the AS Roma comment?

Ronaldo didn't walk out when asked a question though. The organizer announced it would be the last question. He answered it and left.
I know, I am no fun.
