I like your simple nice view on this, but you know this won't happen. In 10-15 years when they're long gone from the football field the BDs will be what people first look to when they compare Leo and Cristiano. No, that is not going to happen. Most of us will still be alive in 10-15 years and we will pass down the story of Messi vs. Ronaldo to new comers and our kids. We (not necessarily Barca fans but objective football fans) own the narrative. Plus, with the help of technology there will still be ample examples and proof left for those new comers showing why that is the case.
