Cristiano Ronaldo - v1

I've never ever thought of Real Madrid as Ronaldo and him carrying them I've always thought that when they play well as a team Ronaldo shines but when they don't he's often very quiet.

The thing is, its always Ronaldos fault when Real doesnt win, isnt it? How about that clowns in defence, Ramos, Danilo, Casillas last year? Im not looking to blame everything on anyone(except Danilo), its a team effort.

I'm actually the opposite. He carries them quite a bit. Benzema has never lived up to potential and Bale has had his best month ever in the white shirt but still has a long way to go before he can become their #1. Cristina is a cunt but they'd be fcked if they had to depend on Bale and Benzema alone.

People expect Ronaldo to pull the team by itself, especially Barca-fans. Now, Ronaldo has had poor matches just as any players, and i have given him slack for that, but more importantly, the team as a whole hasnt worked properly in big games, with an exception here and there.

The big teams don't let Ronaldo walk all over them like dross like Wolfsburg and Malmo or half of La Liga do.

Shaktar arern't 'nobodies', to be fair.

And he's had a good 2016. Again, the argument has always been it's not about the amount of goals as the where and when, and in the second half of this season he has got a lot of decisive goals. Surely Real only losing by a point in the league is testament to that. And he only played one leg against City, where he was barely fit at all.

Malmo and Shakhtar goals irrelevant for ballon because they were last year.

It'd be a travesty if a hat trick at home to a pathetic Wolfsburg got him the award because anyone good would have knocked them out.

The messi/suarez vote will be split and he'll win it. Same will happen next year.
