Lamine Yamal has equalled Cristiano Ronaldo most assists in a calendar year and there’s still two months left

20 — Lamine Yamal (2024)
20 — Cristiano Ronaldo (2014)

Ok, this is what they call "uncomfortable conversations"

Aston Villa turned into a top 4 team overnight. The manager makes a huge difference. I'm worried about Amorim. We wanted him in the summer to replace Klopp.
Managers do matter, but their squad is mediocre, more so than Villa's was, and their spending is starting to catch up with them and they're gonna fall foul of the profit and sustainability rules most likely.

I also feel - more important than quality and talent - many of their players are low IQ and will be unable to take on board and implement good ideas on the pitch anyway.

Might be wrong. You know I fully agree with you on the importance of the manager. But I just feel they'll never come close to challenging for titles with that squad no matter who the manager is. There's too many teams ahead of them in England and Europe.

It's a bold claim, but I have thought for a while now that City will reach 21 titles before United i.e. win at least 12 more before United win one (assuming no relegations due to the court case or anything). I don't even like City by the way, they're cunts, it's just what I think. Guardiola leaving will hurt them but they'll still be better than United I expect.

I also think INEOS are utter clowns, and suspected it from day one despite all the hype United's gullible fans engaged in.

I haven't been wrong about United in the last 11 years ;) Every prediction I have made about them has come true. One of the most recent saying in summer 2023 Ten Hag wouldn't make it to 2025 as coach (and that's when they were raving about him, but the signs were there).

But yeah, I am not arrogant enough to think I might not be wrong. Maybe I am overegging the pudding a bit, but I just feel they have a lot of problems as a club.

But still, City would likely have to play 15 years minimum to finally overtake United's title record. 15 years is an eternity in football. So maybe my hatred of the red cunts is clouding my judgement.

Man U signed the Portuguese guy so they can get Gyokeres. You can't win without a good forward line. Once they get a real striker they will suddenly be good again.

It's why Laporta had to have Lewa at all costs

I really like you as a poster, but I don't think football is generally as simple as that.

Even if they sign Gyokeres, you can almost guarantee they'll destroy his potential and his ability.
