Santos always impresses me with the amount of players they manage to churn out. Alex Sandro, Danilo, Rafael the keeper from Napoli, Felipe Anderson - Neymar's mate - who was tearing up Serie A before his injury and his father's conviction, Neymar himself... all from the same generation. Apparently they have two or three youngsters who are bound to impress this year, Gabriel being one of them.

What would his fee be? I just saw an article on the mail saying that United are after Walker of Spurs, quoting him at £20 million, and I think he's awful. If players of that ilk are preposterously valued this much, what would good players go for these days...

I agree that he is not a great player but he has proved himself in a top league to a certain extent. Also he is English and as you know that means he has a hyper-inflated price.

Exactly. If he is the dream RB that everyone wanted then why did we only want a player fit for the RM bench?
