I'm not impressed with Danilo. And would bet he won't join Madrid. Cervajal is doing good.
It's all about driving the price up and making things difficult for Barca.

I have seen very little of him, so the game with Brazil against France was one of the first full length games I've seen him play. And I have to ask, was that game a normal performance for him? Because he did not impress me at all, made some silly misplaced passes, lots of backpassing when there were better and more potent alternatives, and just looked okayish in other areas. Nothing wowed me like I had expected considering his hype...

I think that RBs in majority of teams are required to defend good and joining attack is just secondary requirement, while in Barca, the player in this position has to has the perfect balance in both areas. This is really going to be headache to find a new RB because requirements are really high.

There won't be another Dani Alves. He was one of our best signings ever. Even for 30 mil. (probably 50 in today's market)

Yip its official.

If they get Alaba as well they are going to have an unbelievable pair of tall, pwerfull fullbacks who can both play!

He's no Douglas, but I don't see the hype either. Doesn't seem special for all that's written and speculated about him. Can anyone tell me if he's just super marketable, or if his potential is sky high?

:facepalm::facepalm:

The only good RB available on the market and of course we let him go for Real. Another player who we'll regret not having signed in a few months.

Instead we'll probably try to "bring back home" Bellerin and overpay in the process.

This sucks smh. This is my I hate Madrid with a passion sometimes. They don't need another RB of Danilo's stature smh. They only brought him so we couldn't.

€31.5M for Danilo, that's a lot. His contract was running out too.

Wasn't Carvajal supposed to be their RB of the future? :VdB: big fat middle finger to him from uncle Flo.
