Bayern have one of the deepest squad in the world and look at their fixtures, arguably the least demanding among all top teams in the world due to having fewer league games to play, more time off, longer breaks and lesser competition. Bayern really dont deserve any sympathy for the injuries, it sucks to have injuries but thats part of the game. Barca of 2013 when they got demolished vs Bayern, everyone gave hell to Barca whenever we mentioned injury, so good luck to Bayern this season.

Indeed. Ryu was probably just trolling or preparing himself to give the injuries the blame should Bayern not win the CL or reach the final this season.

Not to say that Lahm has already returned, Thiago is 1-2 weeks away from returning, Martínez too while Alaba is likely to return before a potential CL final or even the DFB-Pokal. Robben too is expected to be ready before the CL-semifinals.

Not to say that Bayern has the best squad depth of any top team in Europe IMO.

Sure I get the notion of Bayern probably being even better had those players not picked up injuries but there is no guarantee of that. Every team faces injuries too. Some more than others and some more at certain points in the season than at other times in the season.

To rule the CL out already before meeting the "giants" Porto is laughable.

Depends on how important the players are to the team.

If Messi got injured, we could practically rule out La Liga and CL.

Anyways, he did din't say anything about ruling out CL. And he wasn't really asking for sympathy either.

why do you laugh? best lb in the world by far.

Not by far, He is the best , when he plays there, but this season he has been more of a central midfielder. He is a great player but to say he can "perfectly capable of stopping messi" is laughable, Messi has been humiliated greater defenders, Im sure alaba would be no different

Seriously though, Alaba is insanely good. One of the highest football IQs there is.
