David De Gea

I dont care much, Navas and Iker for another season isnt that bad. Get him free next year is nice.
Or RM will send a better offer to get him this year.

I don't think MU doesn't want to sell him no matter what. I think MU dislikes what RM offered, and they think it doesn't worth it for that price. They think it's better to keep him.

In french papers, it said you guys offered 15-20M. Is it true or did you offer more?

If it's true, I think MU is right.

Real apparently put a £13 mil bid in for him, and DDG is worried about Iker staying and his precense in the changing room. This saga could drag on for ages, LVG only has 2 more years left here before he retires it will take a bid higher than £25m to cause him to sell as unlike Fergie he doesn't have the time to experiment with keepers.

Utd should keep him for another year, let him go on a free. He is an incredible keeper, if he goes to madrid they'll have upgraded hugely.

If I was in charge of Man Utd and De Gea tried to stay and just go for free then I'd bought his replacement this summer(Leno) and benched DDG the next season.

No reward in playing a player who'll be gone. Just buy the replacement and let him settle. If things don't go well you can throw DDG in.

If I was in charge of United, I'll threaten to bench him until 2016 and sell him to Barca. Just to mess with his head and his chances of being Spain's #1 in Euro 2016. Also to see the meltdown in the RM-controlled media

flawed logic... How will United have any say in where De Gea would play the following season if his contract is about to expire?

lack of playing time is probably not gonna hurt his chances with NT because he is by far the best young Spanish keeper and if he went to Real as a free agent he will laugh all his way to the bank

The meltdown part would be gold though :p

Doesn't help that Iker has been choosen ahead of him for spain.

De Gea can go anywhere he wants but if barca offer him same wage real are offering than he could be tempted...I've always thought of him as the perfect keeper for barca because of his ability on the ball and it would be really funny if Real miss out on him..It's disappointing that barca are not interested in him because It'd be perfect if we could keep him until january and get some cash for him..

we have two keepers? One of them even younger than De Gea and was the starter for CL winning team? There's no way we can sign him!

Younger doesn't mean better and De Gea is as good as it gets when it comes to goalkeepers...Ter Stegen and Bravo are both good keepers and I'd even take Ter Stegen as De Gea's replacement but the gulf in class between them(Barca Keepers and De Gea) is still huge...

David de Gea is a great, great goal keeper who I rate highly since his Atletico Madrid days, but he has gone from being underrated to overrated. You'd think he's a re-born Lev Yashin.

No, the gulf in class between Bravo, ter Stegen and DDG is not huge.
