Insulting offer ? He has 1 year left on his contract and he desperately wants to join RM and his family in Madrid.

Who gives a fuck what he wants. If Real Madrid want him they can pay the price we want, otherwise they wait and get him on a free. He's massively underrated on here and personally I hope we reject any offer and keep him for the next year. Whatever fee we get for him, even £30 million, is nothing to United. His performances are something though. If the fucker wanted to be in Madrid so much then he should have stayed at his 'home' club. So now, for the next 12 months at least, he leaves on our terms.

Except by that time Madrid would have got their new keeper because they won't have got de gea. So he might stay with you after all.

Seems like united is asking 35 M € for De Gea now.

It may seem a normal and fair price for you but with the exchange rate into pounds its really low for us in england!

It will be hard to buy players from england till it gets back to the norm because clubs will expect say 30 million pounds for a player which is 42 million euros which seems to be overpaying.

I think that is what is making it difficult, and the fact that DDG hasn't even handed in a transfer request. He needs to man up.

United should stand firm and ask for £30M so roughly 42M Euros.

Apparently LVG hasn't forgotten how tough Madrid made the ADM negotiations. What goes around comes around.

Stand firm and we sign him for free in 6 month and move in a year.. i'm all for that scenario ....
ADM had several years left in his contract... you do understand United are the losing hand in this , do you ?

Probably couldnt give a damn losing him for a free in a year, 20-30M is nothing for United and a season of a GK like him is worth that.

Can Madrid afford another season of Iker in between the sticks? Could they have a transfer ban? It's not all rosy for Madrid on the other side, there's serious pressure to catch up with Barca.

Anyway, AS reports aside, apparently no bids have gone in and United are sticking to their 50M Euros valuation.

As we should. Practically our best player.

I dont believe so, either you pay the valuation or wait a year. Almost certain youll pay it too another year of Casillas...we should of asked for £50 million

We are the losing party no doubt about that, he's fucked us royally. However, the best of two options available to us is to keep him for the next year. You're not dealing with a small club here, the money means very little to us. Another season on recovering from the fallout of losing Sir Alex we'll be in a much better position to let him leave. Makes no sense to sell him.

What happens if you're put under a transfer embargo by FIFA? You're under investigation, your club itself confirmed it.

Everybody can just appeal like Barca did and get 1 transfer window to spend a fortune on.
