David Silva

There you go..

My evaluation of the City player is not on the basis of select but significant viewing this past season. While he carries the team against the Wigans, Wolves, Blackburns...he's been anonymous in high profile/tight games where his team needed him the most(form or otherwise). Even the spineless Nasri was preferred to him in the run-in. Whilst i don't deny his quality, to make comparisons with the Don, who's the very definition of a big game player, and has come trumps in the biggest of games and occasion is ludicrous. Silva has never commanded or influenced crunch encounters the way Andrés has, nor is his skillset on par with the latter.

His name is danumber10 (I am surprised it wasn't danumba10) so he is a no body.

A moment ago you said you never joke around

You clearly missed the joke in that, didn't you?

yeah but that's like saying alcohol is more important than cigarettes.

you can easily get by without both. complete luxuries.

Incorrect, Silva gathered momentum, City needed someone like Silve to give the club some flair when they were appalling, to give the club some belief and to get some points. He may not be Iniesta who wins big matches, the biggest of them all even but you cannot claim Silva is a complete luxury because without him they wouldn't be anywhere on the map. Just a bunch of individuals who had no idea what to do especially as their manager didn't have any idea what to do with them. Silva was some sort of definition to the team, and they started gathering momentum which is where he fell off. Yaya, Mario, Aguero and Samir Nasri all followed after Silva and all have played an important role in winning the league, even if something like 10 wheels came off that 18 wheeler but they managed to finish first.

He isn't as good as some would like to think, but he is a very good player and important part of City. A team that is ill managed has a million distractions. He did well, and I believe he will do even better.

Actually, I think he doesn't link up very well with our players... He had many bad passes today and sometimes his decisions were a little sketchy... Not saying he's a bad player, I just think he wouldn't fit Barca at the moment...

I actually think that while he's become a more direct player in the Premiership, his skills & timing on the ball and in the tiki taka play has suffered - which is probably to be expected over there, I guess

The first 3 goals were basically duet between Silva and Iniesta .I think he links with Iniesta better but he can't be no pacemaker with Xavi around .

I believe If Spain NT has been split into two teams ,each one of them can win the EC under respectable coaching
