It's a shame this. Although Villa gave some good performances as a left-forward he is a striker, played out of position for 3 years, and even though the right decision was to play Messi as the striker it just feels like it was the wrong move for all parties. I'm not saying he didn't give some great performances but it seemed like we needed a striker to replace Zlatan, bought Villa and then stuck him on the wing. When ha came back from injury it was like watching a different player. Still good luck to him. In his prime he was arguably the best SC in the world.
