Do Las Vegas have a MLS team?

No, there are no professional sports at all here. Partly because of the desert weather, but I think it's largely because of fears about betting/match fixing and the city's reputation as a place to party. If I want to see a game, LA is closest (about a four hour drive).

Oh, I see. I guess there's no big stadium either then. Population not that big either and even if you take that betting/fixing issue apart perhaps it's a bit of a gamble to invest heavily in a professional sports team there :pep:

Biggest sports draw in town is the UNLV (University of Nevada, Las Vegas) men's basketball team:

UNLV is most known for its men's basketball program. Made famous by Coach Jerry Tarkanian in the 1970s–1990s, the Runnin' Rebels are the third most winning team in Division I basketball history by percentage, only behind Kentucky and North Carolina.(.713, 1037-418 through 2008)[63] UNLV is well known for their 1990 NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Championship by defeating Duke University 103-73, which was and still is the largest margin of victory in a championship game. In that same game, UNLV became the first team to ever break 100 points in a championship game.

500k+ people living here, I don't think that's small at all. They've been talking seriously about putting a pro hockey team here in the future though.

Something like that. Players like Xavi, Valdes or Ronaldinho were moved there sooner as they are important part of Barca History and easier to find them there (less threads). Villa is not that important and will be moved there once he retires.
