Shhhh. Who cares about that, it's a goal, nothing else. At the end of the day Alexis shot that went to the post or Alexis failing twice against the goalkeeper was clearly more helpful .

Yeah definitely, anyone who doubts that is an idiot of course.

What's Alexis go to do with it? The benchmark for idiocy is generally set by posts needlessly drawing comparisons between team mates, I honestly get depressed and put off the forum when I read some attempts at analytical posting. If you expect to tune in to Barcelona matches every week and see 11 players pull rabbits out of their ass then you'll always be in for a surprise. Villa was ok against Celtic, but he wasn't on the pitch long enough for us to draw a meaningful assessment, but that some people have to bring Alexis into this just to credit Villa's performance just to make themselves feel better, says a lot about their insecurities.

Just think that Villa is more a goal threat, hopefully the goals and confidence will come for Alexis.

Well you don't blame him for that, you blame Tito, second you could also blame Pedro, third that is the most twsited way of reasoning possible, fourth and finally you shouldn't be blaming anybody.

Villa should've been introduced sooner into the game, especially since Messi was playing a considerable part of the second half on the wings. Villa playing in the centre would have him playing in a role that suits him more and I think he could've been pretty productive in this game. Tito should've introduced him much sooner.

Hopefully he gets another start this weekend...and maybe last the whole 90 minutes depending on how the match is going.

An awful match but I don't think it this was entirely his fault tho. He started playing from the right, then as a 9, but Dani Alves constant attemps to give him the ball from the right were bad. Tello from the left didn't even try, he did once but failed as well.

Cesc & Xavi tried to assist him, but defenders would constantly block it. Messi didn't even try.

Don't know, that's what I saw. Sad game from Villa.

I'd rather see him from the left wing because he gets the ball more often and can shine with Alba unlike Tello.

The new haircut didn't help.
