It's easy to say he had a bad game but I wouldn't read into this game too much. Players like him need good service and some games it just doesn't happen, whether it's his fault or not as difficult to determine.
I hope he starts next week. He needs a string of starts, then we can judge him.

It does seem he's being forced out. Sad because he doesnt deserve that. So the best we can hope for is a good season ot of him before he's on his way.

Correct me if I am wrong but Villa is playing now(last weeks not since the beggining of the season) as much as any other striker not named Messi. Tito is doing some nice rotations up front to keep them fresh for April and May, so I see no different treatment among Villa and the other striker
He deserved to be subbed off vs. Mallorca. Didn't look sharp like in some previous matches and other players deserve to play as well. Alexis did quite well when he came on.

When Tello failed to assist him, Villa did look rly mad. So yeah, I don't think it's that. Dani Alves tried to assist Villa from the right quite a few times but Mallorca's defense would constantly block the ball from reaching Villa. The same scenario happened with the midfield - Cesc & Xavi tried a few times. As far as I remember, Messi didn't even try. Tello only tried to assist Villa once from the left, and failed as well. That's not Villa's fault tbh, playing on that position he can't do shit if he doesn't get a single good assist to shoot the ball (0 shoots last game). That's why I'd rather see him playing from the left wing where he can link up with Alba & Iniesta. Unlike Tello who never gave Alba a single pass, and only tried once to assist Villa from the left and failed.

you people are crazy. villa is starting more than sanchez, and playing damn well too. sure he had one bad game but most players were tired and mallorca defended really deep on a small pitch. not every bad performance = player will be sold. seriously some of you are such drama queens!
