Needs more freedom than that and Arsenal have realised that he dosnt suit deep and allow him a lot of freedom to get into box and around the park.

Effectively he is doing the same role as Pedri in the double pivot as the player with more freedom to get about park both on and off the ball.

Same with England.. he has been nowhere near his West Ham and best Arsenal version when he has to hold deeper.

It would be more expensive/better player version of signing box to box Song and thinking he could be top player sitting deeper when signed off back off doing the opposite.
