I'm not surprised. Few minutes of the youtube highlights while at Rennes were enough for me to see he had something special....... and I am the type that dont get easily swayed by those compilations on the Internet.


To think that this dude was offered to Barca for about half what was paid for Olmo and Barca chose Olmo instead (under the guise of wanting to get rid of an old but reliable Gundogan as some have claimed here) should be enough to call for an inquiry. It is more than bewildering.

Julian Alvarez was offerd to Barca in December 2021 for +10m but a broke Barca chose to go with Ferran Torres for 60m. Man City collected 60m from Barca for Torres and turned around to buy Alvarez for 14m. Few years down the line, Barca is sniffing around Alvarez when his stock has risen to about 95m.

Talk about not having money but being daft with the ones you borrow.
