No. Sane was more explosive pace, lesser close control and a stronger shot.
Doue seems more tricky/saucy with great close control and acceleration.
I think Doue looks very smooth and naturally gifted. His close control and dribbling looks as good as Hazard and Ribery potentially.
Saw him for the first time against us and within 2 minutes, I understood that this guy is something really special. Doesn't take much time to like him as a player.
But can he do it on a beach in Antigua without getting kidnapped?

A simple internet seach could have helped answer the question in your first line so you wouldn't have needed to bring it up here. Agents are there to make money and part of their job requires hawking their principal around for the best deal, even to their mortal enemies if need be. He has the skill and flair to get past his man, but lacks a touch of pace and acceleration to sprint away once he has dribbled him. That's why you hardly see him getting a shot off at the end of his dribbles.
That lack of a touch of pace and acceleration will be his Achilles heel from becoming truly one of the best. As well as his one on one finishing and general lack of goals, which looks distinctly average, even for a 19 year old.
Comparing him to Lamine is also laughable as he literally does nothing on a football pitch better than Lamine, despite being 2 years older.
Entertaining player to watch, but Nico may be a better fit as Nico has that blistering pace that would add extra dimension to us, that Doue perhaps wouldn't.

At the point where I read "Nico has a blistering pace....." I knew you did not have any idea of what you were writing about. Nico has a decent pace, nothing near blistering. Many of you dont watch Nico beyond Barca matches with Bilbao or when he plays for the national team.
Blistering pace is what Mbappe, Kylie Walker, Karim Adeyemi or Alphonso Davies have. Even Vinicius, Raphinha are not mentioned in the same sentence with "blistering pace", and Nico has nothing on pace with those two
Desire Doue is a late case now since Barca preferred someone else but trying to downplay his talent with some hogwash analysis is nonsensical.
Even if you needed pace on your wings, you have that in Raphinha already, why would you then go for a player with same skillset as you already have. Wouldn't it be wiser to go for a complementary player so you can be flexible?

We never paid Sissoko is agent commission out of the Dembele deal and the relationship is dead.

Nico is clearly the faster player, and infact faster than the whole of the PSG frontline (Barcola is their fastest player. Dembele isn't as quick as Barcola or Nico either statistically BUT has incredible acceleration).
I think it's clear that if you put Nico under Flick ball that he has a huge upside.
And finally, Doue is a much better technical dribbler.

Lol...not sure you read my post well. If you care to read my first post on the Lookman page you would have seen where I stated that Nico has more pace than Doue an Lookman. What you all have failed to counter is my position on "blistering pace" posted above. I gave clear examples of blistering pace. You would do well to post the stats of those guys and compare to Nico too so we can redefine blistering.
On Sissoko, the reports are available everywhere if you care to check further.....he was offered to Barca and the only reason Barca did not buy was finance after the commitment to Olmo.....not because of an unpaid commission or otherwise. Sissoko and Dembele already won the case in courts so Barca will pay their commission eventually. That's for sure.

Nowhere in my post above did i mention that Doue had more pace than Nico(read slowly again)....not any page on this forum would have my username stating such. What I pulled out as a fallacy in your post is claiming Nico has a "blistering pace". If what Nico does every week for Bilbao or Spanish national team is anything of "blistering pace" then the linguistic gods of English language will need to invent another superlative adjective to describe what Mbappe,Kylie Walker,Adeyemi or Alphoso Davies do for pace.

You think Nico has decent but not blistering pace.
You think Nico , who only has decent pace, is quicker than Doue, meaning your think Doue doesn't have decent pace.
You think a person who clearly stated the major stumbling block to him reaching the top level of football is his lack of pace, is basing his view on nonsense and 'hogwash analysis'.

😆 🤣...you are dancing in circles bro....and this is coming from someone who silently respects your views on this forum. Pace is not the only determinant of a players success.
So many exceptional players(Romario, Gerd Muller,Pele, Maradona, and for wingers Garrincha, Neymar, Luis Figo, Mahrez,etc) have shown that you dont need the "blistering pace" to be a success. Having that eye popping first touch, exceptional tight control, excellent positioning, great dribbling skills are more important. All these Nico lack in good measure if you put him beside Doue. It is early days but from what I have watched Doue is a far better fit for Barca and a complementary player to the current skillset. If Doue was spanish, Nico will be on the bench for the spanish team. He is gradually doing that to Kvara and Barcola now.
Nico does not have "blistering pace". Simple. Thats is what I called out. Anyone who has watched him enough for the last two years and claim such is either being cheeky or does not know the import of the word "blistering"
