Overrated keeper. He wasn't even consolidated as a first choice while in Sevilla... it is a pity that he is leaving the legendary Casillas in bench... a shame !

Agreed. Did quite well for RM since he's replaced Iker. I like Iker way more, but Lopez hasn't done bad at all.

Well... he wasn't good enough . We've made a quick 1 million profit out of him and don't even miss him. Just have a look at most of the goals he concedes, amateurish type of goalkeeping. Iker is a God to him, no comparison whatsoever, it is a shame to compare Iker with him in goalkeeping aspects. Lopez is not more than an average goalkeeper. He can't even compose the defensive part in front of him well.

Dumbness of RM staff, influenced by Cancerinho who left shamefully. Del Bosque is not dumb, therefore he knows what is best for the national team, who can lead the defense etc.. couldn't he call up and start with De Gea ? He is an undisputed starter in Man Utd, but not compared to the mighty Casillas, quite simple.
