That won't be good defensively, and we will need new wingers to make it work. Can't rely Trincao/Griezmann/Fati duo as wingers.
433 means he will be CM,and tbh I don't think he is good for that position. Would prefer to roll the dice with Puig/Robero than VDB

Donny is not a CM. He's the type of player who roams close to the box. I would compare him to a player like Muller.

He's a good player, but his success is dependent on him being used in a very specific position he excels at. Otherwise he'll be average.

True but I was talking about Donny in general not about how he would fit in our team. With Messi its difficult to find roam for him.

Donny is also highly rated by Goalimpact. He is surely a class player.

As said before I see him as a Vidal replacement. Someone who can provide goals but also has good work ethic. I think he's acutally underrated defensively.

I'll let Koeman (and whoever our coach will be in future) worry how to fit players fit into the lineup but we need more than just 3 starting quality midfielder and Donny has enough quality to start. And we also need different profiles of midfielders.

FDJ, Busi (Ideally we'd also replace him with Camavinga but won't happen), Pjanić, Donny, Puig, Pedri looks good for next season, now it's up to Koeman to find the right combination of players for different opponents. We'll play a congested fixture and there will still be 5 allowed subs in games so enough chances for everyone.
