I feel like he is getting slightly overhyped here. I think he is a good player , but imo not Barca level (whatever that is these days).

He may not be Barca level individually but if Koeman is really passionate about signing him and the player can benefit the team in a collective sense while being affordable we should probably back him otherwise why bring Koeman in at all

Young, technical, great passer, can score, can assist, tall (one for BBZ), athletic. Has shown he can do it at the top level in CL last year. If we can get him for 30m it’s a bargain imo, Madrid were interested in him for 50m+ last season.

Most of all getting him means more midfield departures, which is the goal. Raki, Vidal, Busi can all fuck off.
