With Torres gone, City could go for Vlahovic in January. However, his salary demands and the price tag Fiorentina put on him ore way too big. Apparently he wants 200.000 GBP per week and Fiorentina demands 80 mil for him while Haalands release clause is 75 mil. IMHO if anyone has to choose between him and Haaland choice is easy. Vlahovic is way overpriced at the moment.

Fiorentina probably wants to keep him until summer that's why a high asking price in January. Think they'll sell for less in summer or risk losing him for nothing.

Big money transfers rarely happen in January
And thus, if you have a big player on whom you want to cash in, you won't sell him in January when only 1 big club is interested in splashing money but you wait for a summer when 5-6 big clubs are always full of money and looking for signings for a new season.
