Oh my God, if this is true... FUCK YES!!! He's EXACTLY who I wanted us to sign to replace the hopefully outgoing Torres.

Deserves better? Pfft, he's a perfect fit for us, and with the 3 amigos behind him he could destroy the EPL and bring us a title.

Please be true!!

Of course going to City is better than Chelsea. Worst case is joining Madrid. Best choice is staying at Napoli but I don't see it happening.

Chelsea is definitely the best option for him. With the players they have and Mourinho coming back, they're favorites for the title next year I reckon.

Chelsea have such mixed success with strikers. He could be good, but he could also flop.

Since Abramovich's takeover these have been the big-name strikers acquired:

Crespo - flop
Drogba - success
Shevchenko - flop
Anelka - mixed (arguable)
Torres - flop

Crespo wasn't a flop. He wasn't super prolific but he was not a flop. His first season wasn't fantastic but his goal record wasn't terrible. And he was often a sub in his 2nd season when Mourinho got him back from Milan, but still managed a decent return. I really liked him. Cavani is a better goalscorer than Drogba and a real workhorse, he's a Mourinho type of striker.
