The problem wasnt abt 433. It was Vidal and Rakitic on the right side that costs us the 3-1 game against Madrid. Vidal was a mess that night, he committed too early at times, opening up spaces for Madrid, didnt track Marcelo's run and he was attacking too much along with Alba, leaving most of the defensive job to Pique, which ultimately leaves him in 1-1 situations. Rakitic was so slow in tracking back that he was literally at strolling pace and couldnt do much to cover Vidal when he attacks.
If Valverde decides to play Semedo and Roberto together on the right side, it can solve alot of these problems. Semedo can cover Roberto defensively while he attacks. But even if he plays 442 with Rakitic on the right side, you will still see the same problem and the lack of a winger will allow Marcelo to be free of defensive duties and just attack, which he's very good at. Playing Rakitic in big games like this is actually a big risk nowadays as he isnt quite the workhorse he once was. Unless u play Paulinho as RCM so he can cover Rakitic and Semedo but Valverde often play him as an LCM bcos he needs to cover Iniesta.
Choosing formation is one thing but allocating the right players is whole different story. If Rakitic continues on the right side, then I'm afraid same problems are going to occur. Even Rakitic and Roberto together will cause a huge defensive loophole.
The best option now is to use Roberto and Semedo together. Or simply use Gomes as the last choice instead of Rakitic. But Rakitic is just unbenchable sadly.

Probably the only classic in recent memories, where we know the worst result won't affect us even remotely. Peace of mind, I am sure the players will be feeling the same and will bring there A-game on the pitch.

Can say the same about second leg in 15/16 season. league was almost sealed although we dropped next 2 games and made it a race again, but b4 the match it looked just symbolic. Also one in 2008 was after league done

Usually I'm setting my alarm to wake up early to watch these games, and I have trouble sleeping because of nerves. This time though, I can just stay awake through to the game and because of that I feel much more at ease.

Madrid are at home, have the better squad and have their backs against the wall. When it comes to do or die matches Madrid have been spectacular in recent years, that line is fair IMO.
