4-3 match at bernaleo was also great. It had the suspense factor that lacked in the 6-2.6-2 was all about thrashing.

Thats my situation. GF and her whole family are from Madrid and die hard Madridista's.
Every classico its me vs the rest.
These idiots actually suggested me to name my son Cristiano or Sergio:lol:
But he will be on the couch with me wearing his Barca kit come saturday.

I am pretty sure the madristas are going to try to turn him into a madrista.Just don't let that happen.

I couldn't be around Madridistas for a long time, I've always said I could never imagine having a girlfriend that supports Madrid. At first it's a bit fun but if they genuinely support the club, and then as you say the entire family starts nagging about Real Madrid... pff. I'd go crazy.
Good luck to you.

If my girlfriend told me Ronaldo is better I don't know what I'd do.

May be I'll do the right thing, and check her into a mental institution

I get into fights all the time with my brother because of Ronaldo and Messi. He's only very recently conceded that Messi is the superior player. Had to endure years of "probably can't make it elsewhere like Ronaldo did" "Argentina so much better than Portugal" (he doesn't even watch the games :D) "ozil better than xavi" (which wasn't too far off the mark at the time but still)
I own him on general football knowledge though, it pisses him off.

In this kind of games, the small details can have a big impact. A strategy aiming to win the tactical battle should also focus, in my humble opinion, winning the psychological one. Modern football should be ( and is indeed) thought and thaught as war, and art to conquer your opponent. With Rakitic and Messi almost likely not being fit we should surprise them by making them think that without these 2 players we would be vulnerable.
I would like to see Barca control as much as possible the game for the first 20-25 minutes, just passing the ball and trying to find breaches in Madrid's defence. A Busquets-Iniesta duo in the midfield shall be able to do this. This should tarnish their fighting and offensive mindsets and would force them to adopt a more defensive mindset.

Around the 20-25th minute, I think it would be nice to switch to a reverse 4-3-3 in order to open up their defensive block :

Play a more direct football and the Busquets-Mascherano duo shall be able, in my humble opinion, to manoeuver Madrid's counter-attacks.

Halftime : Rakitic and Messi in for Roberto and Mathieu

Rakitic and Messi should bring a massive amount of fresh air and we would gain a lot more stability in the midfield. They should be able to play 45 minutes. If we can play like in 2014/2015, with the same defensive discipline and offensive fluidity it would make Madrid panick.

Unfortunately, that's certainly easier said than done, and this is just my personal opinion. I am really looking forward to see what Enrique has got in his mind.
