Barca were shit scared of Rashford in first 60 mins and played with hand brake on.

Cant blame them with Alonso and Alba in defence and Araujo RB.

As soon as defence was sorted the team played with more confidence and better presure higher up park.

Amateur defending on the 2nd MU goal. Rafinha should never show Rashford the goal line, made it way too easy.

Wonder what this game would have looked like with Busquets and Eriksen.

More like a winger doesn't have to be left alone to defend 1 vs 1 against the opposition's best forward.

Great game. Man U played really well. Unfortunately, Barca's chances are not great next week w/o Gavi.
Wait, i have missed something. I saw his foul and though he was given second (because had one in first half) and sent off. Went to pee my frustration out and when returned he was back playing and thought ref shown mercy to him. So what happened? Wasn't second yellow?

He had none in the first half but he is suspended for the next game now.

Can't get over how frustrated I am with tonight. It's one thing playing your best players and not being a good enough coach/team on the night. To change two of your defenders and thus change the entire look of the defence when it was not required WHATSOEVER against the toughest opposition you are probably going to face in the remaining part of the season....It's beyond stupdity, it almost feels like blasphemy.

Not only that, he plays Araujo RB, when you know you need his pace and power to mark Rashford. It's like he was intentionally trying to sabotage us. It's baffling beyond belief. And then, he takes off Raphinha, the most dangerous looking of our 11 tonight, to put on Ferran Torres.

I'll admit, I've not been a fan of Xavi as coach right from the start, but I'm at peak EV levels of frustration with him right now. Guy seems absolutely-fucking-clueless.

Also, watching ETH's interview post game - jeez refreshing to see that. He was confident, called it like he saw it, and had a swagger about him when he said 'We now need to finish it off at Old Trafford' like a man who knew what he was doing and what was to come. Honest interview and no BS.

Pedri Gavi Dembele (and Busquets lol) out of the next leg it seems. We could still put up a fight and go through if we showed tactical nous and self belief but with Xavi on the bench, seems like a foregone conclusion.

Yeah but what do you expect from a buffoon like Xavi? I called it earlier and I stand by my bet that if Barca go through I won't post for two weeks.
We have a buffer in the league but suddenly decided to rotate in a huge match. Complete clown.

Our players are superior but unfortunately we have a Qatari league manager whilst United have a manager who worked his way up and is there by merit; not some ex-player with no credentials falling into a job. Said it time and time again, Xavi is a horrible manager and Laporta is wasting time and precious money on him. La liga is a shitshow don't kid yourselves and I could care less about Copa, I am seeing ZERO progress in Europe, 0.

Who did you bet against? And what happens if you win your bet?

So I'm glad I missed the game... a mixture of comical defending/keeping for both goals very frustrating highlights. Might not watch through the entire game later on if I'm just going to get pissed off.

No Pedri, Gavi or Busquets for return leg. Hopefully our best defence with Kounde-Araujo-Christensen-Balde will start and be enough to win, will much harder with only 1 starter midfielder with De Jong
