If the Enzo deal goes through they would have spent just shy of 600m this season. Thing is I'm not sure their squad is any better for it today than when Tuchel won the CL.

It's a financial bet that they will accumulate some players who will rise in re-sell value and potential before more stringent FFP sets in.

UEFA is heavily biased in favor of English clubs. Especially saving their asses after the Super League attempt. So now they just look the other way

Not at all.

This has nothing to do with UEFA ignoring spending from English clubs.

They are doing the opposite and changing rules so dont allow for clubs from certain countries to be allowed to sign players for more than 5 years.

The FIFA 'rule' on 5 year contracts doesnt apply in UK nor in Spain.
