Erling Haaland

May not be a Messi, but the dude is scoring like no other. And he is not even Brazilian. To criticize his importance to the game is just silly.

What an instinctive player.

He will never be a Messi, but he can be the next Gerd Muller, thats very high praise in and of itself.

Will be more convinced if he scores 2-3 goals on Bayern.

Until then, we already know he destroys teams weaker than his.

Personally I think Haaland is Haaland and Muller is Muller. Both have different qualities. But Haaland has an instinctive and uncanny ability to score when given an opportunity. I mean, 8 goals in two games, that is as good as Messi, even though he does not do what Messi does, he finishes like Messi.

For me, when used correctly, this guy is the best forward in the world. No rival atm.

He doesn't finish as good as Messi though. Far from Messi's level. But yes, he is the best goalscorer now.

41 goals so far. Predict he will score 55 goals this season which is insane.

Alvarez also is a player that can score like 25-30 goals if he plays full games.

City have one deadly striker and one complete striker.

So..

Can sign one of them tomorrow for free on a 5 year contract for Barcelona. Do you sign Mbappe or Haaland?

We need Mbappe more. LW is a big problem

With Lewy being in the wrong side of the 30s, I think a #9 would be needed sooner than later.

Also, I think we got a good thing going on with Gavi cutting in from the left and Balde covering the left side.

I guess Mbappe vs Haaland would depend on how the board will address the #9 position in the future.

We need a permanent solution at LW soon and it need to be someone quick and direct and good 1v1 dribbling wise.

As for Gavi then I'm not even sure he's going to be the solution in midfield tbh. I like him and think he's a good talent, but right now Pedri is the only one with an actual impact offensively in the team out of our midfielders.
