Ernesto Valverde - V1

Never bought into the narrative "he's crap since he never won anything" about coaches. Ignoring the clubs stature, economics and the competition. Klopp rejuvenated Liverpool, they are now consistently doing well, fighting for PL title as well as made it into two consecutive CL finals. If he wins the CL tonight with a midfield of Henderson, Milner and Wijinindahdalum that narrative crumbles into pieces as small as EV is courageous.

Wait a minute, are we completely forgetting the Bundesliga and German cup titles won by Klopp with Dortmund against the Buy-ern in Bayernliga? Where is this "he's never won anything narrative" coming from?

And comparing Valgreen with Klopp?

The difference between where Liverpool was when he took over and where they are now is massive. Even though they haven't won anything yet, at least they saw progress being made season by season.

And for the Valverde supporters with a stick up their ass, who compare trophies, the quality of the teams when both took over their respective clubs is incomparable. Liverpool's defensive line consisted of Mignolet, Clyne, Lovren, Sakho and Alberto fucking Moreno. It's was utter trash. Compare that to Ter Stegen, Umtiti, Pique and Alba and it's another world altogether. Then you see the attack where players like Benteke, Origi and sick note Sturridge were mainstream appearances and it's a no fucking contest with Messi, Dembele, and even this version of Suarez. Hell, Messi alone was/is worth much more than their whole team at that time.

All of the above and I didn't even mention the stature and wealth of each club.

Valverde's supporters are the most delusional and dishonest bunch of bastards I have ever seen.

Liverpool players might not be as talented as Barca's, but they compensate the difference in individual quality with intensity, passion, and hard work. Add to those quality the incredible management by Klopp, and you have a better team than Barcelona.

Having the most individually talented players ain't worth anything if those dudes are not managed properly, or don't give 100% or aren't focused or whatever.

People often forget that Guardiola's Barcelona was one of the most hard working teams in football, with the way they pressed and ran for 90 mins. This version is a complete joke by comparison.

You can't take on teams in the semifinals of the Champions League and be so poorly prepared. The 3-0 in the home leg should've been 3-3 at best. We were outplayed for the majority of the tie, by a better team with a much better manager.

Part of the reason 2012 Chelsea for me remains the biggest disappointment in CL. Bigger than Liverpool 2019 where we were beaten fair and square by a better side.

Possibly the hardest working side as a collective, on top of alien tier footballers in Messi, Xavi-Iniesta, and Alves. The only weakness was increasing lack of variety in attack in 2012, which ultimately cost us (Villa's leg break). If we had a healthy Villa, we would have topped Chelsea despite the tremendous bad luck.

Our players are fucking morons who deseve no respect for going out and defending this spineless cuck. It’s the biggest joke and meme in football right now that he still is here after what he did.

They really deserve every single thing for defending this piece of shit manager. WE are the ones suffering while they're the ones enjoying playing like shit with no consequences whatsoever! I'm treating these next 2 seasons under Bartoshit and Shitverde as spare seasons and as seasons that I'll just laugh at whenever we have a humiliating loss.
2021 is when I really expect real change with Victor Font.

Hahahaha

Wonder what Messi will think watching Henderson or Lloris lift the trophy?
That's what Valgreen gets you. A seat on the sofa.

Milner said in an interview the other week that Messi called him a donkey in the tunnel at half time in one of the semi games. This donkey will lift the trophy while messi and his buddies keep backing EV
