Ernesto Valverde - V1

His lineups were suspect at times but there was not much more I would have blamed him for.
But tonight... Valverde needs to get sacked. We will probably win the double but he needs to go.

That's why results should never be prioritized over long term structure and style. You may win a league here and there but over the years the team ends up getting mourinhod. All peachy for a year or two after which comes the fall. And the fall is fucking brutal.

Fucking right.

I'VE LITERALLY NO FUCKING IDEA WHY OUR TEAM RUNS THE LEAST OF ALL TEAMS IN UCL: https://it.uefa.com/newsfiles/ucl/2018/2021705_ts.pdf

We run 104 kms per match while every single other team in the world runs about 110-115kms per match.

Something is very wrong with our physical preparation, it has been like that even with Lucho.

It basically comes down to this. We have some overpaid lazy players. They work less as their wages get bigger.

I used to laugh at teams that park the bus while being bankrolled by Russians oligarchs and oil states with hundreds of millions of euros. I mocked them for their coward approach with world class players. There's is nothing I despise more in football than an elite-team bus parking their whole TGV fleet. We are now one of those teams. My blood is fucking boiling right now.

With a 4-1 lead, trying to defend it is reasonable, no need to go gung ho. However, when you try to defend and park the bus for a bit, a coach should make sure that the bus he's parking isn't this one:

If a coach insists on parking the bus shown above, he's not so much a coward as he's a moron.

We were too timid, too bland and lethargic.

You can’t play with that type of mentality at this stage of the competition.

Even when it appeared we needed to alter the setup, Valverde’s response was to do nothing.

Therefore at 2-0, it was inevitable that we would concede another and go crashing out.

The players are simply extending the manages philosophy on the pitch, they lock lethargic because the coach is like that, they looked confused & without direction under Luis because thats the impression be gave them.

Yes exactly, you get it, I've been saying this for years

Don't agree with that, it's just that our players can't run like others because there's no physical preparation.

Sometimes I watch the first 15 mins of our training sessions and the training sessions of other teams and the difference is incredible.

We just walk around and do some rondos while every other team begins the training running for 5-10 mins and with physical exercises.

Have to say it, it's miraculous how often we end up supporting whichever team plays against Madrid than Barca lately in CL.

I don't think it was a matter of size. More of a matter of how... how should I put it... in shape was the bus.

One does simply not park the bus with Barca. This is a team that can outscore an opponent, not defend for their dear life.

When the 1st half ended 1-0 without a single chance for us and plenty for Roma, we should've subbed some attacking players in, score 2 goals and put the tie to bed. Instead, we went with Mourinho approach (which clearly doesn't work anymore) and bottled it. Big time.

This is horror show of epic proportions. We lost to fucking Roma after 4-1 win in the first leg. FFS DOES HE EVEN REALIZE THE PROPORTIONS OF THIS HORROR? Doesn’t he realise that after this no one cares about La Liga or that shitty CDR.

True Barca fans literally enjoyed maybe 3 or 4 games this season. In 90% of games I just wanted them to end ASAP. Barca is about playing beautifull fotball and not fucking ATM or Chelsea shit. Nobody wants that! Just go away and take that fucking 4-4-2 with you you ball-less piece of shit.

Well yeah you have to cheer for someone in the semis and final. It's not like we are making it to those stages these days.

You do realise they only really show the rondos and some light warm ups?

That is not the extent of training every day.
