Don't understand the bitching today, it is not warranted. Even with defensive subs we continued to create many chances and could have easily scored 4 or 5. Inter, on the other hand, created one chance at most. Credit to him today.

Pretty good job today. Just play Vidal more, he more than deserves it. With Suarez, and Vidal vs Madrid we'll surely have the mad dog fighting spirit we need.

Thought we played beautiful football vs Sevilla, Tottenham and Inter. Cant really argue with him regarding Dembele and Malcom if he keeps it up. Just wish he was a bit more daring with subs (aka faster and more active).

When exactly did we park the bus? Did I miss that part?

Ever since Valverde took over, we have essentially played a defensive-minded brand of football, rather than using our offensive talent and possession based style to defend. This idea that winning at all costs, a pragmatic approach to every game, even if we are playing against Rayo Vallecano, just doesn't sit well with me.

Also, a leader is suppose to inspire and motivate young and talented players in our squad. Valverde is using a different approach when a player has a bad game: he freezes them out of the squad all together. That won't exactly inspire confidence in our 150m investments, will it? Some players are however exempt from the freeze out! Go figure!

I guess users here are ok with winning at all costs even if we have to play defensively and never utilize our squad depth. What makes our club different now than Chelsea, juventus, or PSG?

Liverpool, Real Madrid, Man City have been playing more offensive/Barca style football than Barca ever has in the last 3 years

Ah come on. I really dont like him, but I wont criticise him for nothing at all. Even with Roberto, Vidal and Semedo subbed in we didnt play defensive - we still pressed high and were trying to dominate the game. It should be allowed to admit we had a good game and not be called Valverde fanboys.

The Malcom/Dembele situation is another story. For me Dembele lost a lot of credit this season bar the brlliant moment here and there. Malcom? No idea. Something has to be wrong with him.

I mean Barca wasn't that bad tonight especially without Messi , but the player management issues are still there and so are the questionable subs. But it seems the "Muh results" narrative is back after 2 games.
