Roberto - Pique is just a bad partnership. Roberto is not a good defender and fucks up often causing many fires that need to be put out, typically by the defender next to him. And before you know it slow Pique goes there to save the day, only by the time he gets there, the opponent is already scoring a goal.

The next few years are going to be a defining period for our midfield and a little later for our attack post-Messi. We're gonna need someone sharp at the helm. We've already got most of the resources for the midfield now with Arthur, Alena and FDJ sealed but most likely there's gonna have to be some experimentation and tinkering. Not sure if EV is the right person for this.

He didn't. He was one of 2 forwards in 4-4-2 diamond. But that said, he has been to careless with the ball today to play in our midfield anyway.

Who did Coutinho came on for FFS (hint: he started on the bench)... Yes we started in a 4-3-3 but switched to 4-4-2 diamond in the 2nd half with Alena as a CAM.
