23 million Euros per season for a defensive minded Mourinho-esque manager. I had no idea his salary was this great!

In comparison, Zidane earns 7.5 million Euros per season at Real Madrid. Go figure!

The twin article with players has this sentence in it "Goal takes a look at the total income - including salary, bonuses and advertising revenue - of each of the top 20 highest paid footballers below."
It`s probably the same for managers, because it has the same "total income". No chance Valverde has a salary of 23 million euros.

The source for that was L'Equipe claiming he earns 2M/month but no way Valverde earns more than Pep. He was a midtable coach when we signed him, why the hell should we pay him more than twice the amount most big name coaches earn for absolutely no reason?

Paying Valverde 24 millions a year would be by far the stupidest decision the board ever made

He won to titles and almost went whole season invincible in league losing 1 match last game... if he has result-bonusses, he may earn that much in total, so low basic salary, high bonuses. But I still think its bullshit furthermore, wasn't it the same source making someone highest earning manager with over 40m euro a year? Sounds like bullshit.

I think it was like Simeone 1st with 30ish mil, then Valverde at 24 and Pep at 22 or something.

Wasting money on wages is like the favorite thing of Barca but that's just way too exaggerated to be believable imo. Not even our board throws around money like that. I mean that's not just slightly over average or anything, it's like 2-4x the salary most managers get at the other big clubs lmao

And that article was even pre contract extension iirc.

24 mil is just not true let's be serious.

I expect him to be somewhere in the 5-7 range ?

If someone like him get's 24 mil then i'm utterly dissapointed. Might aswell hire me and i'll take a 23 mil paycut and Messi will carry me aswell.

But your face is assymetrical, players will want to getthe bad side of you

I don't think this is tactical problem but a mental one, we play badly away from home in CL many years now, not just with EV. It's like we feel we must win and we become scared, many brainfarts follow, while opposition feels they have nothing to lose and play good.
If this was a game against Valencia for example we would be cruising, but this is mental block
