The whole team was pretty bad tonight, simple passes being fucked up and we still won 1-0 thanks to United having no end product whatsover. No point dwelling on it really, all that matters is we've got a lead going into the Camp Nou and it's another game down, the history books won't remember the performance it's progressing that counts.
Valverde I think, is a good manager in some facets but if you're expecting him to be ruthless and go balls to the wall then i'm afraid you're gonna be disappointed. His respectful and tame demeanour is reflected through his approach to games, respect for the opposition, sometimes too much respect. Where the reality is if you have Messi, Suarez, Alba, Dembele etc attacking you're more likely to disrupt the opposition then just sit back and casually knock the ball around at the back.
