A few days ago we all mocked CDR as a Mickey Mouse trophy.
Yet one user (I guess that he is from Barcelona) said something like: wtf? CDR is a very important Trophy, people here rate it as a perfect ending of a season and it is a huge celebration.

95% of posters here are international fans and for us Champions league and then La Liga are the only important trophies.
I have no idea, but maybe it is different for Catalan fans.
People is Catalonia seem to rate CDR.
Our board rate CDR, remember how we are the only team always playing with a lot of starters.

So, even though EV made horrible things in Europe, in the end, I won't be surprised in EV stays, because for the board: La Liga is the most important Trophy.
And EV is on a verge of a domestic double in 2 years.

That might explain a reaction from fans yesterday who didn't boo at players.
They failed in a CL, but I guess that they are still heroes for majority of them.
Since, they won La Liga infront of a mortal political/sport enemy: Real Madrid.

Let's be honest Valverde isn't at fault for Alba's mistakes.or Coutinho playing like shit. Sometimes you need to accept the players messed up

Dark clouds ahead then. With Zidane back in Real and given full power to rebuild his team, the Lucha for La Liga & CDR will be mucha mas complicada next year.

Alba, Luisito and the other vets can hold hands band of brothers style, in sweet complacency, but just like in Thelma & Louise, that cliff is getting closer and closer and the Valvmobile is speeding straight towards it. :wheelchair:

Then again, they do so safe in the knowledge that they've got their golden chutes already packed to the brim.

Not so for the Catalan fans... If they really think all is rosy in the best of worlds, by the glittery toes of milady Gaga of Winterfell are they in for a rude awakening! Take their siestas on what they think is a comfy mattress

It's not about not winning the trophy or bust as ultimately it's difficult but in Europe away Barca have been completely pathetic the last few years.

You can't just brush 2 x 3-0 losses, 2 x 4-0 losses in knockout stages under the carpet as an 'error'. Some players are just not up to the task anymore. Jordi Alba squaring that chance to Messi was the perfect example of the mentality of Barca players towards heaping it all on Messi to do.

Like the poster said above, it's not about losing 4-3, it's the manner of it. If the current board are okay with it, fine. If the players are okay with it, fine. But trust me these revenues and global interest this current board goes on about, won't mean shit if new generations coming through won't support Barca as there are other teams out there more successful or appealing just ask AC Milan.

Some people prefer Barca outside of the Guardiola era or the Cruyff model that's fine, it's all personal preference.

What separates Barca from others is a philosophy and play style that win or lose they adhere to, so even in defeat you did it your style and you're proud of it.

If you take that away then you just get any other club.

won't watch another game as long as the cancer called retardo isn't removed from the club AND there have been massive squad changes. barca as is is just not worth watching. even most league games weren't fun to watch unless messi performed miracles (most recent games without him on the pitch were absolute shitshows of boredom).

At the end of the day, Barca is a club owned by fans. And if the owner is not satisfied with the manager, he gets fired (in our case the owner is the fans).

The board should be acting on our behalf, but it seems to me that they are blinded by the revenue the club is producing at the moment and don't realise that with shit football, that will fade too.

We need our identity, because with the current style of football, there will be around 25000 people at Camp Nou per Liga match when Leo retires.
I thought it was owned by Mudslim money...

The worst thing in all this was the reaction from the crowd at the Camp Nou.
Not only did those pussies with Retardo escape the wrath of the home crowd after the biggest debacle in the history of club, but they realized that whatever they do no one will hold them accountable for that. No matter how shit of a performance and disgrace they put up, no one will do anything.
They basically got a free card to act like however the fuck they want and the crowd will still come, be retarded and support them with songs and applause.
grasshoppers (swiss club) fans stormed the field on sunday and wanted to force players to take off their jerseys and walk to the locker room in their underwear...

Suarez : We all want Valverde to stay. It's a joy working with him. The players were at the fault in the Liverpool defeat [ Cat Radio]

Important players(Suarez, Busquets, Alba, Pique) have asked for the continuity of Valverde yesterday, but important board members want him out. Today there is an important meeting at the club's offices. [@gerardromero]

I agree with Suarez. Players were at fault. Twice. So was the coach. This doesn t mean he should stay.

It means he should go together with some of the important players.

❗ Valverde wants to stay at the club, and the squad are also for him staying. Bartomeu won't sack Valverde if the squad and him want to remain together. [@albert_roge, 🥇]

I never root against Barca but this time I will. For the sake of Barca's future, I'll be rooting for Valencia.
Shameless manager wont even resign. He's like a cockroach that wont go away.
