Ernesto Valverde

Ten Hag is a fan favorite but there is no indication that the club is interested in him, I didn't see a single tweet or report linking him to us whereas he has been consistently linked to Bayern.

Hard to get any high-profile managers since the only ones available right now are Pochettino and Allegri. Poch will say no to us and Allgeri is not ideal either.

Perhaps several years down the road we will consider Nagelsmann.

He's been mentioned lately.

Nagelsmann would be interesting given he's spoken about his admiration for Barca and seem to be very interested in managing the team in the future.

Noticed the same.

Change the thread's name back to Ernesto Valverde and place it in the Barca History sub-forum when his sacking is officially announced. No need to further denigrate and humiliate a man that is no longer employed for the club. Decorum needs to be restored.

How amazing that EV got a taste of his medicine after he essentially ruined Malcom's career and tried to sabotage Arthur, Semedo, Alena, Dembele (to win the Lyon tie).

Hope this is the last $ he earns as a manager.

Vengeful goblin.

Isn't his record worse pretty much the same as Lopetegui's minus NT?

Don't know what record is that. But didn't Setien's Betis beat Madrid two times in a row on Bernabeu? Any side did that except Barca lately? I remember he gave Madrid and Barca a lot of trouble with Las Palmas as well. A great 3-3 during the times of peak Madrid IIRC.

MD and sport are talking about Quique setien.

They apparently just saw his agent leaving Barcelona's headquarters

That's fair. I want to forget the past two years. Get over it.

Any idea where and how Ten Hag was mentioned (in conjunction with us)?

Yes I can see Nagelsmann managing us in few years, especially in the post-Messi rebuild era with a lot of younger players and new faces. He is known for bringing out the best from young players. Of course, a big if would be IF Nagelsmann hasn't been scooped up by Bayern already by then.

Don't believe we'll get either Nagelsmann or Ten Hag. Come on, guys, you know it. It's Xavi either next summer or in the summer of 2021. If we connect the dots everything points to this.

Don't know why, but I have a feeling Xavi will be no top level manager.

Hopefully we get Poch, guy would be mad to turn down the chance to coach Messi
