Coutinho was great at LFC, Dembele was great at BVB, Paco is great at BVB, Malcom was considered the next big thing at Bordeaux, DeJong just won the best MF itw 2 months ago, Semedo was insane at Benfica..

I wonder what they have in common now..

Exactly. How the hell everyone starts playing worse when they join us? Poor manager and tactics. Also lack of hunger from the old crew.

Some players aren't good fits but when you have a coach like Valverde it makes it hard for players to fit in and improve.

He cannot handle nor develop complex talents. It's really easy to work with guys who have experience and know what they are doing and are/were considered some of the best in their positions but when it comes to actually develop talent that's the hard part.

We brought in a number of young talents such as Dembele, Malcom, FDJ, Arthur, Todibo, Lenglet, Wague(Technically bought for the B team but promoted) Firpo, Alena(Promoted) While Firpo and Wague have been with the first team for a short time so not much we can say about them.

From what we have seen so far, the more complex the talent and some with some complex issues that would take time to fix with good coaching Valverde have done very little in helping them. One of the biggest failures in his reign without a doubt has to be Semedo.

Semedo came here with the reputation as one of the best younger RB's out there at the time. But he had his own flaws, but what did Valverde has done since he got here to help fix and limit some of his flaws? Absolutely fucking nothing.

Valverde is one of the laziest and stupidest coaches we have ever had in this regard. His idea of development is just subbing him off at HT and bring on Bob because he has "Experience in the system" He has done nothing to fucking fix Semedo's flaws and did the musical chairs bullshit because he's fucking stupid and a lazy mother fucker.

Dembele? loses balls out the ass, and his passing is still shit and has some unprofessional issues? Nah, let us sit on our lazy ass and let it continue, no need to step in when Dembele is being unprofessional! that's the clubs job, not mine even though I'm the manager and it's my responsibility to help cut this shit out.

Arthur? Came out pretty strong out the gate, a bit too conservative at times but to be fair the system was not great but sadly suffered some niggling muscle injuries in the 2nd half of the season which led to a drop of form but oh he gets benched so he can play Vidal despite how much worse Busi and Rakitic have been which led us to eventually get blown the fuck out by Liverpool at Anfield.

Todibo? Sure he's only 19 but has looked better than Umtiti has but again ends up being 4th Choice because "MAH EXPERIENCE" even though Umtiti is likely to cost us fucking points due to how poor he is now after his injuries.

Malcom? He was great in France and seemed to be more polished compared to Dembele, gets sent to the dog house instantly because he wasn't Willian, never got much of a chance to get a run consecutive games to build upon form and despite having that great Classico the guy gets benched and wasn't featured for nearly a month after that.

Lenglet? the only reason he even got the chance to cement himself was due to the fact Umtiti got injured. Pique was in pretty dreadful form as well but never got benched. The only chance Lenglet got to play before what happened to Umtiti was vs Girona and got sent off that game.

Many can argue that some guys we got are bad fits and weren't as talented as we thought, but it doesn't fully excuse the fact that Valverde is flat out not good enough to deal with complex talents who have some flaws that require actual work to improve on.

The man just cuts corners on everything, he just uses Messi and some of the other guys to do the hard work for him while doing little to help develop talents we brought in for him.

Just saw this online.

Valverde's time at Barcelona in a nutshell:

Season 1: 2 titles and disaster in Rome
Season 2: 1 title and disaster in Liverpool
Season 3: 0 titles and disaster in ...........

Barça will start with two mediocre points into the CL then lose in Prague and again against Slavia at the Camp Nou to basically drop out of CL after 4 rounds of the group stage :)

If everyone really wants this retard gone, how come there hasn't been any Valverde out banners or chants.
Why is everyone being so hypocritical about despising him? I believe getting rid of him is a priority that should be pursued with much needed aggression.

He will see the light at some point. FDJ and Arthur will become our starting midfielders. Hope it's not too late by then.

Because that actually already happened. And barto said all those internet accounts posting #ValverdeOut were bots made by a few people...

if there's anything positive, it seems he's grown some balls over the summer. probably the first time he has been mad at the players after a game instead of the usual 'it is what it is' bullshit.

"The other day we played a good match and we kept the same team."

FUCK HIM. That shit triggered me. I just have the feeling he accidentally finds a lineup that wins him some games and he just keeps it as long as nothing happens. Instead of having a vision and building towards that. Hes always safety first.

Edit: Exactly what happened against Bilbao thinking about it.

He should probably be mad at himself instead of the players. He's allowed their standards to slip and we now have what we've seen so far this year. The sooner he's gone the better. Messi coming back will paper over a lot of cracks and I'm worried that Valverde will last the season.

What's missing is the players being angry at Valverde instead of the endless cycle of:

1. play shit game, preferably in CL semis
2. taking the blame themselves, "it's not Valverdes fault"
3. not changing anything and wanting to keep their safe spots anyway
4. go back to 1.

Valverde "waking up" will not instantly make him a better coach so there need to be more changes. All people at the club seem to be way too comfortable with mediocrity as long as Messi wins la liga for them.

Just thinking after the International break, Valencia and Dortmund away.... a fuck up in both games could be the end of Valverde. Probably not though.

I don't think we'll lose to Valencia but Dortmund away is fucking dicey. Anyway, Valverde would have to be midtable at xmas for his job to be in danger

im not saying he's any better coach exactly but 4-0 Liverpool in CL could've been avoided had he shown similar emotion on the sidelines and made quick subs back then.
