Ernesto Valverde

Well there's no point having our hearts broken by all of this.
They dont read our comments, will change nothing and Messi is backing this foolery.

So i personally refuse to accept this.
I just sit back and watch this sinking ship.

There are many other ships in my life i have control of.
I'll focus on those.

I must admit it's a bit fun reading all these meltdowns in here and BBZ8800's counter "arguments"

Really, I think losing against Valencia might be a blessing in disguise if this moron is sacked next week. It's a small sacrafice for a big victory, since Liga is still salvageable even with this loss. But for that to happen, Barto needs a braincell...

Stop it with this rubbish.

You lot were also openly wishing for the team to capitulate in the Copa final as well in the hopes it would get Ernesto sacked.

What happened in the end?

Valverde stayed and we finished the season with just the Liga instead of a domestic double.

If the board backed him after what happened last season there is not a bloody chance in hell they sack him midway through this season. The optics would be terrible and it would be an admission of failure that would sink the board's re-election chances to virtually zero.

Barring complete and utter irredeemable disaster midway through the season Valverde will see out the season at the very least.

There are no guarantees in football. Forget this daft, petty shite and cheer for the team to win everything.

Club above every player, every manager and every board.

A few targeted missiles are not enough to achieve what you desire. Only a nuclear bomb is and trust me lad you do not want to see that. Rather keep what we have.

If the senior players and Messi especially are strongly behind Valverde, it’ll take way more than a few bad results for him to get sacked. I can’t see Barto risking getting Messi even more pissed off given he can leave for free and is already disappointed with the non arrival of Neymar.

I would like to see Valverde gone, but I think most people here are way overdramatic about how much he’s ruining the team. If you add a firing Griezmann and Frenkie to what we had last season, we’ll still win the league again and be somewhere around contention for CL even with Valverde.

It's nearly mid-September 2019 and Valverde is still the biggest piece of shit that I have ever seen in my entire life!

Just seen his presser.

Valverde insisted Rakitic's benching had nothing to do with the transfer window and that will be a lot of talk about players not playing since there are 7 midfielders for 3 spots.

He also intends to rotate players in the next 7 games. He also mentioned Sergi Roberto is a midfielder still.

His pressers are one the most non-eventful things in football. He literally never says anything interesting, just cliches, and platitudes and basically signaling how every team we face is dangerous and every game is important.

If you've see one Valverde presser, you've seen all, CL semifinal or Copa game vs L'Hospitalet it's the same ideas formulated in slightly different ways.

Ate you a new fan? The club has always wanted managers like these. They hated LVGs controversial media handling, was a huge reason for why they passed on Mourinho as he had a similar media handling style to LVG, and we've been hiring yes man managers ever since.

The board choose transfers and everything, the manager here is just a puppet to motivate the players.
