Team ran 105 km vs inter. The lowest amongst all teams.. And 12-15 km behind elite teams. Only reason why we trumped inter was because they got tired. We couldn't do shit when they were not and we were exposed to our real self. Teams like Dortmund Liverpool juventus never get tired.. So just prepare yourselves for nothingness this season.

I think we have already made contact with Gallardo in case EV continues to fail. Let's hope he is nothing like Tata.

Let's hope EV doesn't fail, because when EV fails the team fails.

What do I know though, only real fans openly wish for their club to fall.

Tata was also regarded as one of the best ones in South American football. I don't want Mr. Nobody from outside of Europe anymore. An established manager in Europe should be the target.

Don’t know Gallardo but Pep called him a top 3 coach some time ago.

My favorites are Ten Haag, Nagelsmann or Lopetegui. I believe Ten Haag is Bayern bound and don’t think Nagelsmann is interested.

Need to learn more about Gallardo but doesn’t seem a bad choice. Apparently he has character aswell. Uses the 4231 which I like. Ten Haag do that too btw

EV IS failing, has been failing for a long time now and will continue to fail. As long as he stays, the team fails.

Yeah, we can hope for him not to fail, just like we can hope for unicorns to be sighted. OR we can do the logical thing and fire him.

Valverde fanboys are the ones who want the club to fail by keeping this trash coach.

Heard good things about him but would prefer Ten Hag.

Pointless to talk about a manager today though. Valverde won't be sacked any time soon.

Who said Tata was regarded as one of the best in South America? He was regarded as a good manager but nothing more and obviously didn't win any trophies outside of Paraguay. Gallardo won South America's biggest trophy not once but twice and considered the best manager in the history of one of the biggest clubs in South America. He played in Europe for Monaco and PSG so he had the exposure to European football. Also in terms of character and personality, Gallardo can be compared to Simeone which what we need the most, strong, serious, a no-nonsense manager. Messi likes him and voted for him for FIFA SA best coach award.

Anyway, like the poster above said, it's useless to talk about EV's replacement now but one can dream of getting managers like Gallardo or Ten Hag.
