Croatia 100%, because Group A and E 3rd places will go out, only chance Croatia doesn't play Group F 3rd place is if Hungary beats Portugal and Group F 3rd place doesn't go ahead because it stays with 2 points, in this case Austria can be 2nd and play England.

According to all the PL-fanboys im my country,DDG is supposed to be the best gk in the world by far. No doubt he is usually class, but they need to calm down a bit.

Also, what an asshole that Croatia GK, WHY does UEFA have a goal line referee? Totally useless, even if Ramos was crap, the guy should've repeated because it was a cheat.

Shut the f... up. It wasn't penalty in the first place. You've lost. Now go home.

Fuck you Ramos, why did they have to let that imbecile take the penalty?

Spain lost to a mediocre team when they only needed a draw to have a out of jail free card for the final.

Mediocre team? Maybe you're right since we played with our 2nd squad.

Let's look at it from De Gea's perspective. This is something I've talked about a lot, and many seem to disagree with for some reason or another, but for goalkeepers, the most important thing to build confidence and gain an understanding with the team is...........playing. Because unlike in other positions where you can get subbed in or rotate with other players, here you cannot. You either play or you don't. The more experienced GKs are usually affected less by irregularity of minutes, but for the younger ones, that's often an issue.

Del Bosque mostly started Casillas in the qualifers and friendlies, and then we're here for the Euros and he decides to start De Gea.

Now, if you've noticed, then De Gea in all three games has been somewhat shaky. He's looked unsure, he doesn't have any understanding with his defence and that can cause plenty of problems.

That's not to say it wasn't his fault today for the 2nd goal, because that was his mistake. Just his. No GK should let in a goal at their near post, but the way he positioned himself was odd to say the least. That might be related to just that. No understanding, shaky, unsure to whether do one thing or another. Because from what I've seen, I doubt he'd ever make such a big positional error for Manchester United these days. That won't happen.

I don't know why Del Bosque took so long to start him over Casillas when that should have happened two years ago, but I'm not really surprised either as VDB is hardly the most pragmatic coach.

I still think Spain has the best squad in the world, i feel they should do considerably better with the players available. Well, lets see what happens against Italy.

Good post, and i agree he should have taken Casillas spot a long time ago. DDG is a very good keeper, but my post was mainly just to ridicule those that claims he his the Messi of goalkeepers or something. Really weird decision to let Casillas play everything until the tournament, then suddenly go with DDG. DDG should have played the qualifiers.

Croatia should've gotten 2 yellow card, one for diving in the box and one for the goalkeeper cheating.

And definitely not Ramos to take the penalty, there are at least 4 players who could better than him.

Now they will be happy to play Hungary or Austria, who used to rule them as an Empire, but Nikolic and Arnautovic are Serbians are there with the thirst.
