Really don't know. I am still kinda shocked Dinamo Zagreb midfielders started ahead of Kovačić. People blamed Mamić connection but look.. Kids delivered and are rightfully there.

Croatia should've gotten 2 yellow card, one for diving in the box and one for the goalkeeper cheating.

And definitely not Ramos to take the penalty, there are at least 4 players who could better than him.

Now they will be happy to play Hungary or Austria, who used to rule them as an Empire, but Nikolic and Arnautovic are Serbians are there with the thirst.

Ramos should be booked for stuttering in his run up for the pen and therefor sent off by using your logic?

Ok, so:
1. Pjaca from Croatia should have gotten a yellow for simulation
2. Spain still shouldn't have gotten a penalty. What happened, a wind was blowing and Silva fell?

Spain had the same problem as Barca.
They seem as they lack desire and motivation.

They have tons of skills, but not enough of motivation.
They have hungry/motivated Nolito and Morata upfront.
But then Iniesta, Silva, Busi, Fab, Pique, Ramos who won way too many trophies, the same as our Barca's team.

I am not saying that coaches should kick older players from the team, but it is a clear pattern with Barca&Spain how skills alone are not good enough (anymore) to win you titles in tournaments which have knockout format.

Imo, Spain will lose either against Italy or in quarters due to these motivational problems.
(And a tough draw, of course. But still...)

Don't mind him. Sour grapes and all :) Also, wasn't a penalty anyway.

I do like Austria, they played so much better in qualifiers.

FYI, we kicked serbs asses in 90s when they lost the war against us, at that time much weaker army...and when football is in question, lol, we fear serbs as much as we fear baby deer.
Now find the place to cry your heart out and kiss that Ramos poster above your bed.

As I said, Spain may lose the title this way because of having to play Italy, Germany and France, but not in favor of Croatia who will not win because their not a top team.

Spain didn't look motivated in 2012 with that Fabregas false 9 either and they found a submediocre France that didn't have a single shot after being at risk with Croatia by losing even the place in the QF and helping Italy win the title because there wasn't another strong team except Spain to beat them since Germany failed.

So, you never know with Spain, maybe they wouldn't have slept today but it would've happened in the next round in fatal way, like Netherlands in 2008 when they swept the group and lost to the weakest team in the Quarterfinals or even like it happened to them in 2006 when they were clear favorites against France that came after 2 draws and 1 though win against big Togo.

Now find the place to cry your heart out and kiss that Ramos poster above your bed.

Just called Ramos an idiot, imbecile, fucker, yet I have poster with him?

He should've scored even if the Croat goalkeeper is a cheater and not make that stupid mistake so keep Spain safe, out with him, bring San Jose and give the captain armband to Andres Eternal Iniesta.

This is a Barca forum: Iniesta, Sergi, Jordi, Pique are Barca players. Nolito, Cesc and Thiago were also Barca players. Ramos is just an asshole!

Spain didn't look motivated in 2012

That is just my opinion about skilled teams without motivation.

Current (old, not too motivated) Barcelona and Spain can still win Cls and Euros, but imo, in each year, as players get older and less motivated, those chances drops further.

So, for example (imo), they had 50% chances to win in 2012.
Then 30% in 2014
Then 20% in 2016
Then 15% in 2018 (if they'll have the same team etc)

The same is with us (Barca). If we don't get some younger players, I see our chances to win a CL (knockout-type of a tournament) as weaker and weaker in each new season.
We can survive with skills and without motivation in a league-type of a tournament with lots of weaker teams where we can neutralize our lack of motivation with very high skills.

Spain looked poorly motivated against mediocre Czech team in a first round and won in the 88th minute.
Spain was very good against mediocre Turkey.
And today against Croatia (without starters Modric, Mandzukic, Brozovic, Vida, Strinic and with 3 kids in a team with 20-years old Jedvaj, and 21 years old Pjaca and Rog), they lost 2:1, missed a gifted penalty, and even Rakitic hit the post in the 1st half.

Croatia is a good team, but not THAT good.
And Spain didn't look to sharp against a team with 3 rookie kids (and too impressed kids in some moments) in their starting lineup.

So, imo, Spain really has problems with motivation/batteries, and sadly, we will probably see that very soon.

Clearly bigger chances in 2016 than 2014, and Italy didn't look that good against Sweden, Belgium was just all over the place in the first match, it's good that Italy is overestimated, their biggest advantage was always that Germans or Spaniards underestimated them.

The teams in the lower section (Team 2) have 11 World Cups combined.

Yup, even before your game against Ireland I saw some Chinese fans of German NT suggesting that Germany should lose the game to have an easier route to the final. ;)

I think you guys will beat Italy like you did last month.
