And if referee and VAR were doing their job, this "attacking" football would have been missing Rudiger after his biting attempt in the first game and they would have conceded a penalty kick after the foul on Mbapp?.

You dislike France football but this game shows that defending well against this exciting football is not luck.

Germany's first half-decent match in a tournament in seven years, nicely complemented by atrocious defense behaviour by Portugal. The match kinda reminded me of the Costa Rica match in 2006.

Having said that, my prediction for the tournament is a shitty cramp of a match vs Hungary and after that dropping out in the round of 16. Maybe, for once, the team can prove me wrong.
