I always liked Portugal and Belgium are sore losers since they lost against France. They consider themselves as the moral winner of the WC. They are celebrating being number 1 on FIFA board and just Meunier on and off pitch justifies being for a quick exit for those losers.

Off topic: I have always wanted to ask, are the Walloons essentially French ethnically?

Portugal won unexpectedly in France and french people will root for Portugal here.

We find Belgium fans and players (Meunier) arrogant even when they lost (saying they were some moral winners of WC). French being arrogant themselves enjoy dissing Belgium (some would even say it is a "province of France").
