Champions League is basically living off its name/brand for quite a few years now. Last objectively good final was in 2018, and that was for the goals alone. Maybe the new format will change things, but I can't say for sure. I reckon I wasn't a big fan of the change(because who knows what else they will change, look at FIFA's new World Cup plan) but maybe it will be better for the competition.Yeah the CL group stages are a snoozefest too, and that is with only two going through from the group rather than three. Then the round of 16 is often a strong team against a smaller second place team. Look at Man City hammering Leipzig for example.
Club football definitely has its problems too. Maybe the new Swiss system will make the CL groups look better but it's untested in European football.
Called it.This Euro is wack.
This fool still raging about CopaDamn, Euros are so entertaining. Much better than Copa.
Why? What opponent does the second team in this group face? But no one here thinking Portugal losing on purpose? Isnt the winnter of that group getting seeded on same side as france germany italy?
