Haven't followed them, but if they still start Ronaldo they won't be a factor. And then they have absolute frauds like Felix and Cancelo...

Prediction: Portugal will win the whole thing; Felix and Cancelo will be major contributors.

Here are my quickie predictions. The convoluted formula they use to fill out the Round of 16 with 3rd placing group stage teams makes it hard to figure who goes where. The only group I think where that might make a difference is the B Group of Death where there will be a strong 3rd place team (either Spain, Croatia, or Italy; I suspect Italy). But it's possible the 3rd place team in that group might not even make the R of 16 because of the competition in the group causing low scores and draws.

I'll finish filling in my scores for the rest of the group stage games later today.

I think Spain may be stronger than I estimated. Not by inidivdual quality but by overall team cohesion. They could well beat Germany if their paths cross (a QF matchup looks likely).

Here are my final predictions (including scores in the group stages).

My biggest possible errors:
- Spain might beat Germany.
- Italy might beat England (assuming they take 2nd in Group B).

And there are bound to be more draws than I predicted. I only predicted draws in matches I truly felt were a tossup. But most draws happen when one team underperforms or gets unlucky, or the other team overperforms or gets lucky, or some combination of both (i.e. Araujo red card vs PSG in Champions League 2024).

Just shows what a horror show from Croatia in defending and attacking. They didn't look bad at all, but shitshow defending and Barca-like finishing sentenced them to a clear defeat.

Poor Albania, Dortmund was FULL with albania fans, you rarely have seen a italian fan there. The fans deserved a draw at least but Albania played sooo bad.

Alot of those Croatia changes were after Spain were comfortably in front. So a bit skewed.

Still result won't matter too much. How many tournaments do Croatia lose in the first game and then go on a bit of a run.
